Andrew has over 25 years legal practice experience in property transactions, commercial-company law and general practice. Andrew’s experience covers the full range of services described under What We Do. He has worked as a lawyer in London and the Turks & Caicos Islands (a tax haven in the Caribbean) as well as New Zealand.

Andrew has 3 children and strong links to the community. He is a trustee of Life Unlimited Charitable Trust and a former trustee of the Balloons Over Waikato Charitable Trust and the Hamilton Household Budgeting Advisory Trust.

Jo Wadmore (Solicitor)

LLB

Jo and Andrew have worked together for a number of years, and Jo has been working with Atticus Legal since its inception.  Jo has 20 plus years experience in law firms, working as a Secretary, then a Registered Legal Executive, and now as a lawyer.  She has broad experience, particularly in property transactions and estate administration. She also moonlights as a Marriage & Civil Union celebrant.

Alan McAllen (Consultant)

LL.B, Notary Public

Alan has practised as a lawyer for many years in Hamilton and elsewhere. Andrew took over Alan’s practice in January 2015 and Alan remains as a consultant to the firm.
